Ok well there isn't a whole lot new to report but here are few highlights...

The Green Bay Packers organization announced that they will retire Brett Favre's #4 jersey during the 2008 season.
Ted Thompson was named the George Young NFL Executive of the Year.

Props to Teddy for winning that award...he definitely deserved it... and of course we all knew it was only a matter of time until Brett's jerse was retired.

On the free agent front, the Packers signed former Ram LB Brandon Chillar...

Nice seeing you again HoopsGirl. I knew the Packers would find a way to retire his number despite their policy against doing so. I was one of the few Packer fans who supported Thompson before this past season. He has been doing a marvelous job in the draft and has 3 of the top 60 picks this season. I think he is primed to have another one. I hope you had a great Easter as well.

Hey GoPack- Good to hear from you. Yeah the Packers definitely don't overdo how many jersey #'s they retire...that's for sure. I began to be a believer of TT last season when I saw how things were being pulled together. I strongly support the drafting Aaron Rodgers and A.J. Hawk but I won't lie...Justin Harrell made no sense. He didn't see grass his senior year and wasn't even lights out before hand. He certainly hasn't been anything brilliant in the NFL so far either.
